Photographic Competition 2023

This year's competition in aid of Service Dogs UK attracted a quality entry of 236 images, again judged by Pro dog photographer Sean Cameron, with our Chair, Pete Simmons selecting winners in 'Chair's Choice'.

Sean awarded 1st – 5th in each of the six categories and his Best In Show was the winner of ‘My Happy Place', by Carl Portman; this photo will grace the front cover of the 2024 Year Book.
Sean awarded Reserve Best In Show to Danielle Hadden's winner of 'Let Sleeping Dogs Lie' and this will feature on the inside front cover of the Year Book.
Pete selected a winner from each category & his overall 'Chair's Choice' was Diana Richard's entry in 'Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter'; Diana's photo will appear on the back cover of the 2024 Year Book. With such a huge entry, Pete awarded a surprise 'Reserve Chair's Choice' to Arlinde Sep, whose entry won 'My Happy Place'; this photo will appear on the inside back cover of the year book.

The inaugural meeting of the Border Collie Club of Great Britain took place on the 6th August, 1973. 45 years on, the club remains the premier Border Collie breed club in the UK.
